The main body of the Sportlite 320EX is 320cm wide, so only requires 320cm of awning rail to connect to.

But it comes with a built-in extension, which is an extra 220cm in width, and doesn’t need to be connected to the rail.

This gives you an extra 40% of floorspace, creating an overall area only find in a much bigger and heavier awning, but without needing a larger rail to attach to.
