Thule Awning for VW Crafter with Adapter Kit

Just back from a 2 week trip with our new Thule awning and couldn't be happier with it. Setup is dead easy once you've done it a couple times - takes us about 15 mins now. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from Thule, everything from the fabric to the fittings feels built to last. We got caught in some pretty heavy downpours and not a drop came through. Love how it nearly doubles our usable space when we're parked up. Well worth the investment if you're serious about van life!

After umming and ahhing about which awning to get, we went for the Thule and so glad we did. It's rock solid in windy conditions thanks to the storm straps and the waterproofing is brillant. The attachment system is really clever - much easier than our old one. Plenty of headroom inside even for my 6'2" husband. Only minor critisism is the bag is a bit tight once you've used it a few times, but that's me being picky. Overall dead chuffed with it and would deffo recommend to other Crafter owners.

Had this awning for about 6 months now and used it in all sorts of weather. The build quality is top notch - you can really tell the difference compared to cheaper options. Everything fits together properly and the material feels proper sturdy. It's so versitile too - we've used it as extra sleeping space, a dining area when it's raining, and even as a makeshift shower room with a bit of creativity! Even after multiple uses it still looks like new. Setup gets quicker every time and packing away is simple with the supplied bag. If youre on the fence about spending the money, just do it - you won't regret it.
