Dorema Veranda Poles for Caravan & Awning Setups

The Dorema Veranda Poles are purpose-designed support poles used with Dorema caravan awnings to increase stability and create flexible veranda-style openings. Manufactured by Dorema, these poles are a key component within the awning frame system and are identified as Item 1 in the frame diagram, ensuring correct positioning and compatibility.

Installed horizontally across the front or side of an awning at approximately waist height, Dorema Veranda Poles provide essential lateral support when awning panels are unzipped and partially rolled down. This allows users to open up their awning space while maintaining structure and tension, reducing movement and helping panels sit neatly in place.

The poles are available in steel, aluminium, or fibreglass, allowing you to choose the best balance of strength, weight, and flexibility for your touring style. They are ideal for improving airflow, visibility, and access while creating a more open, comfortable, and practical awning layout for caravanning holidays and extended stays.
