Which Thule awning do I need for the Panorama Room?
The Panorama works with most popular Thule awnings including the 5200, 6200/6300, 8000, and 9200 models, as well as the 5500, 6002, 5003, 6900 and 5002. Just make sure to select the correct size when ordering - we'll help match your awning to the perfect Panorama.
Will it work with my specific vehicle?
The standard version works with any flat-sided caravan or motorhome. If you've got a Ducato/Boxer/Jumper/Relay van with curved sides, there's a special version available - just let us know your vehicle when ordering.
How waterproof is the Panorama Room?
Very! The Airtex fabric is specially coated with Teflon and has built-in fungicide treatment. Combined with the sealed edges and drainage system, it'll keep you dry in everything from drizzle to downpours.
What about ventilation in hot weather?
You've got options! Both side windows have mosquito mesh and permanent ventilation points. The front and side panels can be fully removed or opened vertically. You can create anything from a light breeze to a full flow-through.
Is it difficult to set up?
Not at all. The panels slide into place using clamping profiles, and the front panel slots into your awning's lead rail. No complicated pole threading or puzzle-solving required. Most people can have it up in about 20 minutes once they're familiar with it.
Can I leave it up in strong winds?
The diagonal support system and robust clamping profiles make the Panorama quite stable - it's even been tested in gale force winds. However, like any awning, we'd recommend taking it down if severe weather is forecast.
What's the viewing experience like?
The name 'Panorama' isn't just marketing - you get large windows all round that can be opened or closed as needed. Think of it as a conservatory with a view of wherever you've pitched up.
How do I store and transport it?
It comes with two luxury carry bags that fit everything neatly. At 29.6-35.5kg depending on size, it's manageable but you might want an extra pair of hands for moving it.
Can I add extras like curtains?
Yes, curtains are available as an optional extra for added privacy. You can also add wheel covers to complete the look.
What about cleaning and maintenance?
The Teflon-coated fabric is low maintenance and can be cleaned with mild soap and water. The fungicide treatment helps prevent mould and mildew, but always make sure it's dry before storing.
