Starline Elite 390 Infinity Rooms: Make your awning bigger when you need it

Want more space without stepping up to a full awning? The Infinity rooms are brilliant - they zip onto either side of your Starline Elite 390 and add a massive 190cm x 240cm of extra space. You can add one or even pop one on each side if you really want to go large.

What makes these so handy is that the side panel of your main awning stays in place, so you can close off the Infinity room when you want to. Perfect if you're using it as a kids' bedroom or just want a separate space for storing bikes and outdoor gear.

Each Infinity room comes with:

  • Same tough SY17 material as your main awning
  • Windows with proper curtains
  • Option to add an inner tent
  • Matching design and colour
  • All guy lines and pegs
  • Full setup instructions

The clever bit is that you're getting loads more space - about the same as a decent-sized bedroom - but it all packs down small when you don't need it. Much easier than having a massive awning taking up space in your garage when you just want a porch awning for weekend trips.

How long does it actually take to set up?

Most people have it up in about 10 minutes once they've done it a couple of times. First time

Will it fit my van?

If your awning rail is between 235cm and 255cm from the ground, you're sorted. It comes with both 4mm and 6mm beading, so it'll fit pretty much any rail type.

What's the quality really like?

The SY17 material is properly tough stuff - way better than basic awning fabric. Users reckon it feels like a proper seasonal awning, just without the pole faff.

Can I leave it up in bad weather?

Yes, it's pretty solid. Add the storm straps if you're somewhere really exposed or expecting strong winds, but otherwise the heavy-duty straps it comes with do the job nicely.

What about the Infinity extension - is it worth it?

If you fancy more space, it's brilliant. Adds another 240x190cm room that you can zip on either side. Great for a kids room or just extra living space.

How's the ventilation in hot weather?

Really good actually - mesh doors both sides plus those roll-down front windows give you plenty of options for getting a breeze through.

Is it a faff to pack away?

Not at all - the air comes out quickly through the release valves, and it packs down into the included bag without too much wrestling.

What's the headroom like?

Plenty - even tall folks won't be ducking. The upright front design means you get proper usable space right to the front.

Do I need the electric pump?

The manual pump works fine, but if you're using it regularly, the electric one's a nice-to-have. Makes setup even easier.

What about condensation?

The SY17 material handles it well, but if you're worried, grab the roof liner - makes a real difference and gives a nice finish inside too.
